Avoiding the Herpes Simplex Viruses

It takes anywhere from two to twenty days after your initial contact with the virus that the first outbreak occurs. Herpes can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact and will manifest on the genitals of the infected individual. The initial outbreak will always be the worst and most aggravated among all attacks but about 60% of those who experience the initial outbreak will not be able to detect a herpes infection.
Herpes Simplex Type 1 and Herpes Simplex Type 2 are the two kinds of herpes virus. Herpes 1 is generally termed as cold sores which commonly manifest in the mouth. On the other hand Herpes 2 generally takes place in the genitals and is sexually transmitted, as it is considered.
